Hi, I'm Keri Kuechel (key-kul) the Reading Specialist and Instructional Coach at GLS! I've been teaching in the surrounding districts since 2003 and I have taught multiple age groups Pre-K through 8th grade with many different populations including regular ed, special ed resource and self-contained, bilingual (my Spanish is terrible) and as a Reading Specialist with training as a Reading Recovery Teacher and Comprehensive Intervention Model Teacher. I also have experience as an RtI Coordinator (now MTSS) and as a Literacy Coach. During the 2020-2021 school year, I was given the unique opportunity to train as a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader and adjunct professor for Literacy Education through National Louis University. I am so excited to be working with your children at GLS!
